It’s a Merri day, Merri-Mac! 

The sun is setting on another opening day at Merri-Mac, and it was definitely one for the books! We had so much fun welcoming each of you to camp, some for the first time and some back again for another amazing summer. 

In the few hours we’ve had together we’ve been busy! Cabins sat down for “cabin talks” to learn their cabin song, each other’s names, and a little bit about life at camp. We all jumped in the lake together, and then spent the rest of the afternoon settling in. After dinner (spaghetti and meatballs and ice cream sandwiches – an opening day classic!) campers walked up to the Council Ring for initiation.

We finished the night by returning to our cabins for a devo and to wind down before bed. A busy, full, happy, loud, Merri day indeed!
