Today the campers woke up to a beautiful sunny day at Camp Merri-Mac! Today for breakfast we had waffle sticks and sausage, a crowd favorite! Today at chapel we sung My Lighthouse, I’ll Fly Away, and Isaiah 43. Mary Paige Scott’s true story was about getting stung by a stingray and realizing that we cannot save ourselves, we need Jesus because he is our Savior. Today it was game day in canoeing, arrow tag in archery, craft day in riflery, and wheel day in pottery.
For lunch we had ham and cheese croissants with pretzel bites and fruit! We wrapped up lunch with singing tribe songs and finding out who won spirit points and sock war…the Red Wolves won both!! After that Mary Paige announced that it was Division Night for the evening activity! This is where the campers split up into junior camp, intermediate camp, and senior camp and do activities with their cabin area! Junior camp is having a tea party, intermediate camp is having a Party on Pippin(with a slip-and-slide), and senior camp is doing Pirate Ball! The girls played games in tennis, basketball, and Pickleball, Jail is a big favorite!
Tonight for dinner we had chicken Alfredo and for dessert we had lemon bars! After evening activity, girls in Happy Hallow are doing s’mores on Senior Hill and girls from Dreams End are raiding Trading Post! Excited for another fun filled day tomorrow!
