Hiya, Merri-Mac friends and family! We had a fun-filled day here at camp! The campers have been running around, singing songs, and happy as can be! The weather was a bit cooler this morning but warmed up as the day moved on!

However, the campers did not let the cooler weather slow them down! Anna S. completed her Solo 13, a challenging overnight night that teaches them independence and endurance! Mary Clayton S. and Gennie P. went on a multi pitch backpacking trip! Caroline M., Greer H., and Leah R. went on a fun white water rafting trip today! Meanwhile, back at camp on Pippin Hill Annette L., Evie G. and Wendy D. climbed the tower, Charlotte W. and Uma V. earned their bronze in climbing, Aubrey S. got to the top of the rock wall, and Emily S. learned to belay! In The Mike, Lillie A., Madeline N., Nova C. earned their bronze in gymnastics, Isla Mae M. got on the high bar by herself, Clara H. got her back tuck. Anna M. and Blair B. earned their bronze in dance. In PAWS class Livie H. taught Reese, the puppy, how to sit! At the Guitar Hut, Parker B. wrote a song and Adeline P. earned her silver in guitar! At the Riflery Range, Caralyn F. got a bullseye! The Archery Range had some bullseyes too from Mary Hamner C. and Ruthann S.! On the Volleyball court today Ann Tyler B., Blair B., Ciara S., Kate T., Libby H., and Rachel B. earned their bronze and Katie Ann M. and Rachel B. earned their silver! Over on the basketball court Quinn C. made a free throw, Ciara S. and Kate W. earned their bronze! At Lake Doris today Emerson S. earned her bronze in diving, Lucy W. earned her silver in diving, Lucy B. learned to roll a kayak today, and Mary Page S., Mary Richard E., Ava Rose K., and Ferrel W. earned their bronze in Emergency Water Safety! Finally, on Macky’s Green Greer H. earned her bronze in lacrosse and Sarah T. EARNED HER GOLD!!!

We’ve already had so many achievements this session and we’re so excited to see what else it has in store!
