Merri-Mac today was full of fun and exciting moments in all the activities today! Campers were having fun being productive and working on their bars. All the girls in climbing were working hard in particular—Lily M., Sofia C., Sydney S., and Loy H. all made such great progress on their bronze! They loved being able to climb on the traverse wall today, at which they could boulder and spot each other for practice at somewhere other than the climbing wall. Nora B. was also working so hard on her bronze in gymnastics! Tennis was also full of excitement. Lydia M. and Madison K. both got their silver bars! They were excited to work on them and be able to be one step closer to getting their gold bars. On another tennis-related note, Nataleigh P. and Vivi F. hosted a tennis tournament for an elective mark! It was quite a head turner and the girls played great. 2 girls also got their bronze in fencing—Emma C. and Katharine L.! Finally, Hannah S. got her gold in lacrosse!

There was also so much fun happening outside of bars! All of the water activities got to enjoy Free Swim Friday, a very popular weekly event, at which during each period the girls in the water activities all got to swim together and even do the blob! Also, in PAWS, so many of the girls got to play with the adorable puppies. Kit was especially a fan-favorite puppy today. There was a super fun backpacking trip out today, and on it was Elyse S., Scarlett I., Maggie V., and Lillian F. There was also a rafting trip out today, and those are always a blast! The girls that got to enjoy this particular rafting trip all day were Caroline B., Audrey B., Celia C., Olivia C., Caroline C., Stella C., Reese D., Campbell G., Caroline L., Elizabeth L., Lillian M., and Mary P.

For dinner was mashed potatoes, peas, turkey, and rolls with an amazing dessert—peach cobbler! It was all delicious. Last night the Black Bears won Counselor Hunt, and the Golden Eagles won spirit points! Tonight the tribes will be battling it out in Battle Ball, a riveting version of dodgeball. It will be especially fun to see who wins the Sunnyside/Sundrop/Dreams End versus Staff game at the end—that one is always very competitive! We can’t wait to see who comes out ahead and what the day tomorrow holds!
