Cabin’s Dreams Begin and Rainbow, known here at camp as “Dreambow”, spent the morning on a trip to the local Lake Tomahawk. They had a photoshoot, feasted on oreos and cheerwine, and met some friendly ducks. Camper Nataleigh P. says “It was a great way to end the session and a fun bonding activity with my cabin that I will never forget.”

The campers of dreambow weren’t the only ones out adventuring today. Some members of Stardust including Grace H., Cora A., Ansley C., Regan M., Lila O., and Olivia W. went on a hiking trip to Big Piney. Campers Elizabeth M., Jenna H., Hannah D., Marin D., Camilla P., Eva S., Helen C., and Liv S. went on a mountain biking trip to Camp Timberlake. Trips are such a great way to experience growing through friendship and adventure!

The dock, as usual, was one of the best places to be. On this warm day, the campers rushed into the water to play in kayaks, canoe, blob, and dive. The whole dock celebrated Rainbow camper Trista R. learning her roll! Over in airsoft, Nadia R. celebrated her most outstanding award in airsoft with one final game with her fellow campers. In climbing, campers worked on getting to the top of the upper tower, the highest place in camp to climb. Blue Heaven’s Spencer C. loved it, and says “climbing is really fun because I can challenge myself to climb new, harder routes”.

Dinner was a classic italian meal: chicken parmesan and brownies, which, as Stardust camper Allie J. declared: “Are absolutely exquisite”. After dinner, the girls celebrated each other’s accomplishments through the White Feather ceremony, where the campers receive bars, commendations, and marks that go towards their ranks.
