Soaking in the last few days
Soaking in the last few days
It has been yet another wonderful day at camp Merri Mac! We started our day with coffee cake and baked oatmeal for breakfast. This allowed us to be fully charged and energized for the day!
In chapel Adam gave a message of what it truly means to be a Christian and how we can showour love for others in many different ways, big and small. For lunch, we had chicken tenders andfries, a camper favorite.
Today in PAWS we washed our dogs, preparing them for opening day!All lake activities gave us free swim leading to lots of fun on the blob! In cooking, we made waffles and brown sugar bacon, a yummy breakfast treat!
For dinner, we had spaghetti, broccoli, and cheddar biscuits.
Before our evening activity we had our White Feather ceremony. White Feather is a ceremony meant to
reward and recognize girls who have gone above and beyond in activities and camp life. White Feather recipients tonight were.
Lillis D.
Marin D.
Helen C.
For our evening activity we got to play Battle Ball! Battle
ball is our version of dodgeball and creates a fun, competitive environment for every tribe. As always we finished our day in our cabins with devotionals. We are so sad to see some girls leave tomorrow, but incredibly excited to meet all of our new girls Saturday!
