Tribal Trivia
Tribal Trivia
It’s a merri day, Merri-Mac!
We sprung right out of bed this morning because we were SO EXCITED to start off the first day of 3B! We cleaned our cabins together and headed down the hill for a scrumptious breakfast of cinnamon rolls!
After breakfast, we went to chapel where we heard a story from Will about who God is. Then, it was finally time to head to our activities! After some quick safety talks, we got to jump right in! We got to fence in fencing, bake snickerdoodles in cooking, make stools in DIY crafts, wet exit in kayaking, run around camp in trail running, and more!
After our first two activities, we had worked up quite the appetite! Luckily, we were having a camp favorite for lunch…MINI CORDOGS AND MAC N CHEESE!! After devouring our lunch, the dining hall was filled with joyful noise as we sang our tribe songs! Then, we headed back to our cabins for some much needed rest time. We followed up rest time with some free time where we got some treats from the trading post! Next, we got to go to two more activities. It started to rain this afternoon, but that didn’t stop us from having fun!
We wrapped up our activities and changed into our tribe jerseys before heading to dinner where we enjoyed a spread of turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, and apple turnovers for dessert! Then, the tribal competition heated up in an exciting game of tribal trivia!
To end the night, we spent time with our cabins before heading to bed. Some cabins made s’mores, some did the slip n slide, and some got to make milkshakes in the cooking kitchen!
We’ve had such an exciting first day of 3B and we can’t wait to see what tomorrow will bring!
