It was another lovely day at Camp Merri-Mac.

We did our chores and headed down to breakfast to enjoy some yummy pancakes and sausage patties. We then headed up to the chapel to hear a lovely message from Avery G. She spoke about forgiving others, when God forgives us of our sins. =

The bugle rang for first period and we enjoyed a Tea Party in Cooking. We baked blueberry and chocolate chip scones and drank some delicious tea. The girls dressed up in their best dresses for this fun event in Cooking. In second period we finished up our pottery pieces, so they could be put in the kiln to be fired.

At noon we headed to lunch to enjoy some Italian subs, french fries and grapes. We then headed up to rest hour to take some naps during a rainstorm. The rain didn’t stop us. We ran to tray-po to get some candy and treats. Maddie Lemmon announced the winner of Tribal Fine Arts night was…. Red Wolves. She then announced that tonight’s evening activity is…. Battle for Middle Earth.

For dinner we ate pork carnitas and rice. We ended the dinner with sugar cookies. We then headed to the back green to start the Battle for Middle Earth. This is a new and exciting game here at Camp Merri-Mac. The goal is to find the ring and either use it as an invincibility or burn it so no one can use it. The catch is that there are stingers around camp that can pull your sock and then you would have to give up the ring and try to win it back.

We ended the night doing post evenings with our cabins and just laughing and enjoying our last few days here at camp. We are excited to sleep in an extra hour in the morning and to praise our God on Sunday morning.
