Wednesday morning began with a buzz of campers as they made their way to the dining hall to eat fresh biscuit sandwiches, oatmeal, and hash browns.

Merri-Mac welcomed back the campers who had gone backpacking to John Rock in Brevard: Allison B., Caroline T., Millicent S., and Sadie C.!

Several girls packed lunches and whisked off to hike in Hawksbill in Linville: Afton C., Lillie Kate D., Ellaree H., Elizabeth K., Marion S., Uma V., Riley Y., and Taylor Y.!

The rest of camp enjoyed stromboli, pineapple, and fried cheesy potatoes before singing their tribe songs. Yesterday, everyone was a winner at Fine Arts night.

After a day full of classes and trying for bars (which will be announced after White Feather on Friday), the girls enjoyed chicken tacos, nachos, and vanilla cake. They then headed out in good spirits for the camp-wide activity called Battle to Middle Earth based on the Lord of the Rings, testing their wits, strategy, and athletic abilities!

The girls will sleep well tonight, looking forward to the day’s activities tomorrow, where we are excited to update you.
