Happy Monday from Session 2!

Happy Monday from Session 2!
Second Session kicked off in full swing today with the first round of activities! After the bugle rang bright and early, we tidied our cabins and got to work on chores—the race for the coveted Cabin Cake is officially on!
At the Tucker Inn, we started the day with a delicious breakfast of French toast and crispy bacon. Chapel followed, where we sang together and heard a powerful true story from Will about God’s direction and love, inspired by today’s scripture: John 3:16.
Both new and returning campers headed to tribe meetings, led by our newly elected tribe leaders!

Back at camp, energy was high as girls jumped into their first day of classes. Lake Doris buzzed with canoes, kayaks, swimmers—and smiles! On Pippin Hill, gymnasts practiced new skills while climbers tackled the rock tower.
Lunch was a camp favorite: quesadillas with refried beans, chips, salsa, and all the fixings. We also got to celebrate Annie C.’s 12th birthday—happy birthday, Annie!
After dinner tribes scoured the small woods in front of the big house to find and unbury the Hatchet. Red Wolves found the hatchet, signaling to camp that the fight for the banner has begun!
Dinner did not disappoint: sweet Thai chicken with rice, stir-fry vegetables, egg rolls, and banana pudding for dessert. Yum!
Tonight, tribes are competing in Base Jumping—a high-energy game of strategy and speed where campers race to deliver slips of paper to bases around camp without getting “stung” and losing their slip.
It’s been a full, fun day—and we’re only just getting started!
Signing off,
