We have had a wonderful start to our weekend here at Camp Merri-mac! From fun filled
activities, to booming camp songs after mealtimes, our day has been nothing short of
amazing. We started off with a filling breakfast that consisted of pancakes, sausage,
oatmeal, and a many options at the fruit and yogurt bar! After breakfast, we had an
amazing time worshipping God at Chapel through songs and reflecting on what His Word
says. One of our worship songs, Build My Life, consisted of such powerful lyrics, and it was
beautiful to hear the Tweedles and campers around singing songs that uplift Christ!
After Chapel, our campers had an amazing time at their tribe meetings, and soon after,
began their first activity!
During our morning and afternoon activities today, campers had the opportunity to grow at
their pace, while also learning and doing new things! In cooking, campers were able to take
part in making banana and chocolate chip muffins, which were delicious by the way! In
watercolor, our girls worked on floral designed artwork and did a fantastic job! In diving,
campers worked on diving tucks, and it was amazing seeing how talented these girls are!
Finally, our drama activity worked on improv and are starting auditions for our camp
play soon. Excited to see how it turns out! For lunch today we had Gyros! At lunch we also found out the winnow of Gold Rush and drum
