Firstly, we started off by waking up to a damp but beautiful day at camp! To get the day started, we got up and got ready to conquer the day, as well as completing our chores to keep our cabins neat and tidy for the rest of the day. Then we dashed down to breakfast where we had delicious scrambled eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy! After being full from breakfast we headed up to the chapel where we sang and praised the Lord. Mary Page Troxler led the chapel this morning where she shared her experience of camp as well as a beautiful message leading to God. After chapel, each tribe headed to their tribe meetings where they learnt new songs and waited for their first activity!

For lunch we all got to enjoy the classic cheese and pepperoni pizza with delicious fruit on the side. We then found out that instead of playing a tribe game we got to watch a concert, where Lucy Kirby was performing her self written songs as well as some classics! Then we sprinted back to our cabins ready for rest hour, where we read our books, made bracelets, wrote letters and relaxed!

Once rest hour was over we raced down to tray po where we got to enjoy the yummy candy! During this time there was a basketball tournament where there were teams of three which were wearing black, white, blue and red! This was so much fun and kept people entertained throughout free time. It was then time for third and fourth activities! In PAWS, we took the puppies out for a walk where they got the chance to get all their energy out. In cooking we made macaroni and cheese with pigs in blankets, these were so so yummy! In a lot of the activities we were aiming to get our bronze, silver and gold bars which was so exciting!

For dinner we enjoyed carnitas with various fillings and chips with nacho cheese sauce and toppings! This was so delicious and filling. After dinner we walked up to the Mike where we got to enjoy Lucy Kirby’s amazing voice. We all stood up, while clapping our hands as we sang along with her. It was so awesome, we even got treated with ice lollies and churros! We had the best time, it was so much fun. We then did our personal points and devotion and got all tucked in ready for bed! Today was a great day, we can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings us!
