We started an awesome day at camp with french toast sticks and bacon for breakfast. At chapel we heard from our tweedle cabin area director, Ansley K. She spoke on Hebrews 10:17-18, and talked about how even though we often think we know better than God and disobey him, he still chooses to love us and forgive our sins. Campers then headed to a great day of tribe meetings and activities.

Josie N, Charlotte C, Ella S, Frannie P, Lauren S were led by the counselor Marleigh W. on an awesome all-day climbing trip.
Ellie O, Emma A, Madeline C, Addie A, Julia E, Sadie F, Gwyneth G, Lyla M, and Emily F also had a great time on an all-day hike. Backpacking learned how to tie several knots needed to set up a tarp. Campers had a great time relaxing in yoga and working on bars in basketball.
At lunch we enjoyed a camp classic, mini corn dogs and mac-and-cheese. Also at lunch, we heard that the Golden Eagles won our evening activity, Gold Rush, last night and the evening activity was announced for tonight; mission impossible! To play mission impossible campers work in teams to win various bases. Each tribe has several spies who report back to the chiefs behind the enchanted barn. When a chief believes her tribe is in control of each base, she calls the game. If her tribe doesn’t have all the bases the game continues. If the time runs out before a chief has successfully called the game, the tribe in control of the most bases wins.

After a much needed rest hour and some candy during free time girls headed to their 3rd and 4th activity periods. Embroidery learned how to make flowers using lazy daisy stitches and french knots. They also practiced speaking only in motivational phrases even when things didn’t turn out how they wanted. Mountain biking took some camp loops, playing hard even in the heat.
For dinner we had egg rolls, rice, tai chicken, veggies, and bomb pops for dessert. After singing cabin songs campers headed off to play evening activity and sleep hard after another great day.
