It’s a rainy day here at camp, but the girls’ are still shining so bright!! In the spirit of the weather, we sang “Be Kind to Your Web-Footed Friends” after a hearty breakfast of biscuits, eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns! Then we headed off to chapel where Adam spoke on who God is and how he is there for whatever we need, whether it be strength to fight or compassion to love someone that can be heard to love.

After Chapel a fun cabin trip went out! Rainbow cabin had the opportunity to swim at Lake James and hike eagle rock!

Afterwards, the girls headed off to classes where many girls worked on their final bars for the upcoming White Feather ceremony. I saw many girls get various bars in gymnastics on the bars, vault, and beam and many of our campers were learning to cast off projects for knitting so they can proudly take them home. Kayaking worked on their rolls and swimming perfected their strokes. Cooking made some delicious cupcakes that were definitely a hit! Wow, it smelled amazing in there!

The rain is scheduled to let up early afternoon, but it hasn’t put a damper on anyone’s tribal spirit this morning! Tonight’s evening activity is a tribal volleyball tournament and tryouts were held this morning and again after lunch for spots in tonight’s games.

Last night was an intense thirty-one question round of TRIBAL TRIVIA! The Tucker Inn was filled with cheers and stomping feet between rounds of questions about movies, pop culture, and camp history! The whole room was involved and so excited and full of tribal spirit!

All in all, camp is going amazing and the girls are all grinning from ear to ear! We are praying for the rain to let up so the girls can enjoy the last few days of 3A in the bright sunshine!
