Merri-Mac friends and family, can you believe that camp is almost over??! We woke up this morning to some welcomed sunshine. This morning girls sprung up, did their chores, and hurried down to breakfast where pancakes and bacon were all on the menu. Also for our healthy options, we had grit bar! At Chapel, girls sang fun familiar songs and praised the Lord with friends then listened to a short message from Adam.

Onto activities! Today was the last day for Tuesday activities 🙁 so crazy! Today, ladies wrapped up in all of their favorite activities. In climbing everyone was soaking up the sun and climbing high at the upper tower and practicing their knots of course. At riflery, girls continued to work on their bars or have fun seeing improvements in their shots! Shoutout from a proud Riflery counselor; Lindsey J got her GOLD BAR today! Some other camp classic activities include making ice cream sundaes in cooking, playing jail in tennis and giving the puppies a walk-in PAWS! Also for our explorers, on expedition trips out today we had airsoft; Savannah S, Camila P, Penelope C, Brooke B, Carlyn B, Campbell S, Kendall B and Sarah M. On the canoeing trip; Emi Story S, Katherine R, Georgia G, Emma F, Elliot S, Ella Grace M. Our mountain bikers went to the majestic Dupont National park; Marin D, Margret H, Zoe W, Grace M, Olivia H, Elizabeth M, Angeline S, and Paige S. Last but not least our day hikers; Penelope C, Claudia G, Reagan H, Hanna S, Carine T and Dacara V. For lunch today it was…TACO TUESDAY!! We dined on a camp classic of taco in a bag with all the fixin’s and peaches. On the healthy bar, we had a selection of soup and sweet potatoes. At lunch, the evening activity was announced, and we will be playing apache race tonight!

On to dinner! For dinner, we chicken with rice and stir fry vegetables! When dinner is over its time to play evening activity! All of the girls are so so excited to play a camp favorite, Apache race. This is a camp-wide relay race; all of the girls get the chance to sign up to perform a task to advance their tribe in the race. These tasks range from volleyball, human croquet, singing the birthday rap, and yes even archery. Our evening activity last night was Fortnight, and it was an absolute blast with a win from the Choctaw and spirit points going to the Seminoles!!

Today has been the best day, and we are all looking forward to the LAST DAY of camp tomorrow. We sure do have a lot in store! We love camp and are so sad to see it coming to an end but also excited to see our loving families!
