Tribe Volleyball and Puppy Snuggles: A Merri-Mac Tuesday

Tribe Volleyball and Puppy Snuggles: A Merri-Mac Tuesday
Today, we get to mark another great day at Camp Merri-Mac off our calendars! The 7 am bugle marked the beginning of our second day at camp. With their morning chores complete, the girls walked to the Tucker Inn, where the inviting smell of golden French toast, crispy bacon, and ripe seasonal fruit signaled the start of a well-earned breakfast. Next, we gathered at the Chapel, where Will had everyone laughing with his lively story about the chaotic journey he took to see Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. The morning wrapped up with a reminder of God’s unconditional love, leaving everyone heading to their tribe meetings still smiling—and maybe considering which Taylor Swift era is their favorite.
While most of our campers headed to their activities for the day, the girls listed below gathered their belongings and went on some trips!

The girls enjoyed a full day, including: exciting activities, Greek food for lunch, shopping at the camp clothing store, taking a refreshing free swim at Lake Doris, and enjoying Taco Tuesday for dinner! Soccer played around the world game, PAWS campers were introduced to the puppies, and experienced campers got to use new rifles in rifelry today. We topped the night off with a friendly competition of Tribe Volleyball and Newcombe! Evenings at camp are a special time to wind down and reflect. After a full day of activities, campers gathered with their cabins for evening devotion, discussing the morning’s Chapel message and sharing thoughts with one another. Sleepy and content, they settled in for the night—hearts full, already looking forward to what tomorrow will bring.
Each day at camp brings its own set of challenges, accomplishments, laughter, and lasting memories. We can’t wait to share them with you tomorrow!
