What another wonderful day at Camp Merri-Mac for Girls! We kicked off this morning with a yummy biscuit and egg breakfast and then headed to Chapel, where we heard a true story from Sarah Campbell, a counselor in Stardust. 

We then headed to our first day of Monday/Wednesday/Friday activities while other girls headed out to adventures outside of camp! The trips taken out today were a day hike to Cove Creek Falls and Daniel Ridge Falls, a climbing trip to Ship Rock, and Sunspot took a cabin trip to Upper Creek Falls!

Back at camp, kayaking girls learned their wet-exit, climbing girls learned how to tie knots, canoeing girls made whirlpools, and all of the activities had a great time in the rain! Even though the sun was not out this afternoon, the girls made the most of it and had even more fun in the rainy weather. 

Everyone had a great day learning new things in their activities, playing in the rain, and enjoying friendships new and old. This session is off to a great start and we can’t wait for all of the exciting things coming up!
