Sunday And Christmas Eve… Collab of The Century!
Sunday And Christmas Eve… Collab of The Century!
Sunday fun-day, sing a little Sunday song! Yay for Sundays at camp, it is always a good thing to slow down a little bit after a week packed full of excitement and get some much-needed rest and free time! As always, we start our day by sleeping in an extra hour, enjoying delicious cinnamon rolls for breakfast, and singing fun chapel songs! This morning in chapel, we heard from Little Dipper, who performed a wonderful skit about Jesus feeding the five thousand and reminded us that there is no task too impossible for the Lord. After chapel, we had girls participate in the Triathlon! These girls showed perseverance, determination, and strong athleticism as they all participated in and finished the race! Special shout-out to Caroline B., who came from 5th place, sped right on, and finished in first!

In the afternoon, campers enjoyed free time and time to hang out with their cabin. Stardust played volleyball in the Mike, Tweedle Dot got to enjoy Doris for free swim, and other campers hung out with friends, made bracelets, read on their porches, or played intense games of tetherball! During lunch, something extra special was announced: it’s Christmas Eve! Campers stood up on benches, belting Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” as counselors dressed in Christmas garb ran through the dining hall filled with jolly good cheer! Campers then got to dress up in their own Christmas gear and congregate near Tweedle Porch for a cookout and then headed up to Vespers! Everyone had a wonderful time laughing and singing and ending the program with a Bible story. Campers got to enjoy decorating their cabin with their Sunnysiders and CITs while counselors went caroling around each cabin, preparing the girls for Christmas morning, filled with donuts, hot chocolate, sleeping in, and lots of cheer!
Having a blast,
