It’s a Merri-Day Merri-Mac!

This Wednesday, we began our day with yummy baked oatmeal, blueberry muffins and cheerful singing of camp songs.

For Chapel, Adam Kepke read a passage from Ephesians 1:3-14 and shared a story of how, throughout his childhood and into young adulthood, he often took to different activities, responsibilities, and hobbies to learn about his identity. It was however, in college that he ultimately found out the most important piece of his identity, who he is in Christ

In the melodious activity of guitar, campers practiced new chords and songs. In watercolor campers painted landscapes and in pottery students got behind the wheel! For lunch we had delicious chicken sandwiched with waffle fries and pineapple slices. Drumroll for the winner of Inferno… RED WOLVES!

During free time, an audition for Annie the musical took place!

In afternoon activities, the archery class learned what precision means and how to practice it, canoeing practiced their rolls, and climbing learned how to spot another climbers.

Our evening activity included one precious game: The Battle of Middle-Earth!

In this game, tribes competed in several games to acquire the One Ring!

As the sun sets and girls prepare for another day at camp, the taps begin to play.
