Happy Sunday Merri-Mac!

Today was another beautiful day in this haven! We started the day off
with our beloved Sunday tradition of having some delicious cinnamon
rolls! Then, campers headed to Chapel where Jiggity Jog reenacted the
story of David and Goliath using The Jesus Storybook Bible with fun
additions like paper crowns and water balloons. After chapel, everyone
headed to the docks to spectate the Merri-Mac Triathlon. The crowd
screamed, “Swim, Bike, Run!” as campers took on Doris, the trails, and
a final sprint to the finish. Hanson K. crossed the finish line first
with Lizzie T. coming in second, and Kate M. in third. The afternoon
featured an hour-long rest hour, giving everyone a chance to relax and
recharge after all the morning’s excitement.

As evening rolled around, we headed outside for a Western-themed
cookout, complete with hearty BBQ fare and plenty of cowgirl spirit
under the open sky. We closed out the night with Vespers (featuring
church, music, karaoke, and skits), a perfect way to end such a
joy-filled Sunday at Merri-Mac!

What a gift it is to spend our days surrounded by laughter, tradition,
and the Merri-Mac spirit — we can’t wait to see what next Sunday
brings!
