Happy Sunday, Merri-Mac!
We woke up with smiles on our faces and ready to praise the Lord. We put on our Sunday best and had some delicious cinnamon rolls (a Merri-Mac Sunday classic) before getting cabin photos taken. Then, we went up to chapel and spoke about who Jesus is. We learned that God built the world, and it was perfect! But then, mankind disrupted that perfection, and broke the world God made. But He loves us more than the perfection of his world, and thus we were forgiven!
After a lunch of sandwiches and pretzel nuggets, we hosted the triathlon! Girls who choose to compete must complete a round of swimming, two laps of mountain biking around camp, and finish with a lap of running! It was a tough competition, but the winner was… Charlotte D.! Congratulations!
For dinner, we had our bi-weekly cookout! CITs hosted the event, cooking up burgers and hot dogs for the campers to munch on! There were also chips and cookies! Shoutout to our CITs!
Tonight, Vespers was led by Dreams End. We were told a story from the Jesus Storybook through the art of performance. It was a fun time all around, and we learned valuable lessons!]
We can’t believe we’re already halfway through second session! We’re so excited to find out what your girls accomplish and share it with you!
