What a wonderful day we’ve had here at Camp Merri-Mac! We started the morning with a delicious breakfast of French toast sticks, sausage, oatmeal, and a fruit and yogurt bar before heading down to chapel.

This morning, Mary Page T. shared a sweet story from her childhood about how her parents used to swing her by her arms. Even though she held on as tightly as she could, she realized that it wasn’t her grip keeping her safe, it was her parents holding on to her. She reminded us that our relationship with God is the same way. We aren’t the ones who keep ourselves secure. God is the one faithfully holding on to us, no matter what.

After chapel, campers headed off for another exciting day of activities and adventures around camp. Backpacking enjoyed making one of everyone’s favorite camp treats, s’mores! Over at Lawn Games, campers played the infamous kiddie pool kickball and had a blast with water balloon games, making the warm afternoon even more fun.

Several campers also spent the day exploring the beautiful mountains on trips.

Tonight, the entire camp gathered for one of our favorite traditions, Princess Party! Princess Kate delighted campers with a wonderful performance of Beauty and the Beast. Campers loved watching their friends bring the story to life on stage.
