Celebrating Camp Wins and God’s Glory
Celebrating Camp Wins and God’s Glory
It was another sunny day at Camp Merri-Mac and the bugle woke us up at 7 am to get a start to our day. We then headed to breakfast to enjoy french toast sticks and sausage patties. Then we raced up to the chapel to hear a message from Sarah Campbell. We had two trips out today.

The bugle then rang for activities to begin. In backpacking today we learned how to hang bear bags and filter water. We then headed to lunch to enjoy some yummy stromboli. Our girls: Lyla J., Poppy S., Georgia N., and Tizzy P., who left to kayak for the Camp Cup returned to camp and brought with them stories of their victory. We celebrated with them as they showed off their amazing skills, the Merri-Mac spirit, and God’s amazing glory. The evening activity was announced and it is…. Battle Ball! During free time today Tweedle Lodge opened up a nail salon, for everyone to enjoy.
In volleyball and tennis we work on bars. In pottery we wrapped up glazing our pieces to be put in the kiln. For dinner we had roast beef, potatoes, and green beans and for dessert we had sugar cookies. We then raced up to the Mike to start Battle Ball.
I can’t wait for another beautiful day at Merri-Mac.
