Camp Merri-Mac had an extra competitive day today! Today was tribe fest! Tribe fest means all activities are canceled, and replaced with tribe games ALL DAY!! This morning, campers competed in a camp favorite, El Presedente! A game where each tribe pulls the other tribes socks for points (and there’s a secret president worth ALL the points!) and the Golden Eagles won!! After lunch, we played swim fest! Swim fest is where each tribe competes in a series of swim races and extra fancy dives (including belly flop and cannon ball!) Black Bears won!! After dinner we played battle ball! Battle ball is Merri-Mac’s version of dodge ball (with a side of singing along to the Merri-Mac camp playlist of course!)

For breakfast we had coffee cake! Definitely a camp favorite! And for lunch we had Monty Cristo’s! They were absolutely delicious! Finally, for dinner we had chicken tempura and fried rice! And dessert was the world renowned drumstick ice cream cones! (Aka best dessert ever!!)

Ellie Davis, a counselor in Tweedle Dee,  Spoke at chapel this morning! She explained the importance of trusting in Gods plan, even when we are unsure of what will happen! The scripture she explained was Jerimiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
